La Dolomite est un carbonate, proche de la calcite. Les échantillons présentés ici sont cristallisés à l’intérieur d’une matrice de serpentine feuilletée. Les cristaux sont originellement translucides, mais évoluent vars des teintes plus jaunes en vieillissant La carrière du rang 15 est une carrière de talc, fermée à cause de la contamination par du Chrysotile (une forme d’amiante). La carrière est actuellement en cours de comblement pour restauration du site. 
 
 
Dolomite is a carbonate, closed to Calcite, Samples presented here are crystallized inside a Serpentine matrix. Their color is translucent white and turn to yellow when aging. Rang 15 quarry was a talc quarry, closed because a contamination of talc with Chrysotile (a form of asbestos). The quarry pit is now in a rehabilitation process and will disappear in the next years.
